Ages 4 – 6
Spring Session: Monday, May 4, 2026 – Sunday, June 28, 2026
Offered Tuesdays and Saturdays
These classes range from beginner level (playing for the first time) to players that have a basic foundation. These players want to refine their basic skills and continue to improve on their tennis journey.
MIGHTY MITES
*These classes are similar to our red ball recreation programs from the 2024/2025 season.
The first step in progressive tennis – students will use oversized balls in addition to mini nets and a smaller court to ensure proper technical fundamentals are acquired . The transition to successful half court tennis will require a period of skill development where basic coordination and cooperative activities will lead to the development of basic strokes and fundamentals.
ALL STARS
*These classes are similar to our Pre-Rep and Rep programs from the 2024/2025 season.
Our entry level performance program for students that are perusing a path towards competitive tennis. These Students have taken prior lessons and are not new to tennis.

Ages 7 – 9
Spring Session: Monday, May 4, 2026 – Sunday, June 28, 2026
Offered Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Whether you’re brand new to tennis or already have some experience, these classes will help you sharpen your skills. Build confidence, improve your technique, and enjoy every step of your tennis journey!

*These classes are similar to our level 1-2 orange ball recreation programs from the 2024/2025 season.
The first step in progressive tennis – students will use orange balls in addition to a smaller court to ensure proper technical fundamentals are acquired. The transition to successful full court tennis will require a period of skill development where basic coordination and cooperative activities will lead to the development of basic strokes and fundamentals.
INTERMEDIATE
*These classes are similar to our level 3-4 orange ball recreation programs from the 2024/2025 season.
This program is the next step after our Mighty Mites program. These students demonstrate fundamentals for forehands/backhands/serves and can maintain a rally. This program uses orange balls and green balls as well as a reduced sized court.
ALL STARS
*These classes are similar to our Rep programs from the 2024/2025 season.
This program is our entry level performance program in this age category. For students that are perusing a path towards competitive tennis. All Stars Program enrollment is by assessment only (please contact markus@tennisclubs.ca for more information). Students have demonstrated above average technical and athletic abilities. Students in these programs practice 3 – 4 times per week and generally take private lessons.

Ages 10 – 12
Spring Session: Monday, May 4, 2026 – Sunday, June 28, 2026
Offered Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
From first-time players to those with basic experience, these classes focus on mastering tennis fundamentals. Participants will enhance their core skills and continue progressing toward more advanced play.
The Green Dot ball is intended to provide players with a slower and more controlled bounce compared to regular tennis balls. This helps players develop proper technique, improve their playing skills, and build confidence on the court before transitioning to standard tennis balls. Programs available for all skill levels.
FUTURES
*These classes are similar to our level 1 and 2 green dot ball recreation programs from the 2024/2025 season.
The first step in progressive tennis. Students will use lower compression green balls to ensure proper technical fundamentals are acquired. The transition to successful full court regulation ball tennis will require a period of skill development where basic coordination and cooperative activities will lead to the development of basic strokes and fundamentals.
INTERMEDIATE
*These classes are similar to our level 3 and 4 green dot ball recreation programs from the 2024/2025 season.
This is a level above our Futures program. Students enrolled in this program demonstrate adequate fundaments in most of the strokes as well as some tactical and strategic knowledge during point play. These students are able to rally consistently and serve in the correct box consistently.
ALL STARS

This program is our entry level performance program in this age category. This program is for students that are perusing a path towards competitive tennis. MASTERS

This is our performance program in this age category. Students in this program regularly compete in tournaments and practice 3 – 4 times per week. These students allocate time to fitness development outside of programming. This is a provincial level group.

Offered on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Perfect for players ranging from beginners to advanced. These sessions focus on building strong fundamentals and improving core skills. Learn, grow, and enjoy your path toward becoming a confident tennis player.
FUTURES
*These classes are similar to our level 1 and 2 regulation ball recreation programs from the 2024/2025 season.
The first step in progressive tennis. Students will engage in a variety of feeding drills, rally drills and point play to ensure the development of basic strokes and fundamentals.
INTERMEDIATE
*These classes are similar to our level 3 and 4 regulation ball recreation programs from the 2024/2025 season.
This is a level above our Futures program. Students enrolled in this program demonstrate adequate fundaments in most of the strokes as well as some tactical and strategic knowledge during point play. These students are able to rally consistently and serve in the correct box consistently.
ADVANCED
*These classes are similar to our level 5 regulation ball recreation programs from the 2024/2025 season.
Students demonstrate tactical and technical skills adequate to enter tournaments. These players also have above average athleticism that is a requirement to train and play tennis at a high level. Assessments are required to register for this program (please contact markus@tennisclubs.ca).
MASTERS (16 AND UNDER)
*These classes are similar to our Rep and Provincial programs from the 2024/2025 season.
A Provincial level program and is one of our performance programs in this age category. Students in this program regularly compete in tournaments and practice 3 – 4 times per week. These students allocate time to fitness development outside of programming. This is a provincial level group and entry is permitted only after an assessment (please contact markus@tennisclubs.ca).
MASTERS (18 AND UNDER)
*These classes are similar to National programs from the 2024/2025 season.
A national level program for students pursuing a scholarship and/or a professional career in Tennis.
GRAND SLAM GIRLS PROGRAM
A program unique to Tennis Clubs of Canada. Data shows girls drop out of sport at a higher rate compared to boys in this age category. To combat this – TCC has developed a program designed to keep teen girls engaged in sport! After the on court lesson, participants will enjoy social interactive games. Ages 18+
Spring Session: Monday, May 4, 2026 – Sunday, June 28, 2026
Offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Classes designed for all skill levels. Each class is designed to strengthen foundational techniques and promote consistent improvement in a supportive environment.
Classes are at either a 5 to 1 or 4 to 1 ratio to ensure you can participate as much as possible and get more 1 on 1 coaching!
Level 1.0-1.5: This program is for players with no playing experience.
Level 2.0-2.5: This program is for players with minimal playing experience.
Level 3.0: This program is for players who can rally consistently from the baseline: 6 ball rally with a partner (3 balls each). These players can serve consistently and keep score.
Level 3.5-4.0: This program is for players who can place shots with consistency: 12 – 14 ball rally with a partner (6 – 7 balls each) from the baseline.

Noble Tennis School
We are pleased to inform you that all junior and adult programs at the Blackmore Tennis Club are brought to you by the Noble Tennis School, founded in 2003 by TCC’s own Tony Roth (Director of Kingston Racquet Centre).
The mission of the school is to provide a perfected environment for teaching, learning, and playing the great game of tennis. The environment is equal parts enthusiasm, organization, and expertise. The NTS provides junior and adult programs stretching from introductory to international levels, and a uniquely effective methodology, developed over decades.
