U7 MIGHTY MITES
May Session and June Session Available
Offered Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays
Locations: Jack Robertson Park (Tuesdays and Thursdays); Mission Racquet Centre (Sundays)
These classes range from beginner level (playing for the first time) to players that have a basic foundation. These players want to refine their basic skills and continue to improve on their tennis journey.
U7 MIGHTY MITES
Half court tennis is the first step in progressive tennis. This program is available to all skill levels. The transition to successful half court tennis will require a period of skill development where basic coordination and cooperative activities will lead to the development of basic strokes and fundamentals.

Ages 7 – 9
U10 MIGHTY MITES

Locations: Jack Robertson Park (Tuesdays) and Edith Gay Park (Saturdays)
Whether you’re brand new to tennis or already have some experience, these classes will help you sharpen your skills. Build confidence, improve your technique, and enjoy every step of your tennis journey!
U10 MIGHTY MITES
The 3/4 court stage is the most important stage of progressive development as the court dimensions are adjusted smaller but with a similar ratio compared to the full court. This step helps ensure the development of an all court game style. The key is to develop the same tactics as full court tennis along with the associated techniques. This program is available to all skill levels.

Ages 10 – 13
FUTURES UNDER 14

Locations: Kinsmen Park (Wednesdays) and Knox Mountain (Fridays)
From first-time players to those with basic experience, these classes focus on mastering tennis fundamentals. Participants will enhance their core skills and continue progressing toward more advanced play.
FUTURES UNDER 14
The Green Dot ball is intended to provide players with a slower and more controlled bounce compared to regular tennis balls. This helps players develop proper technique, improve their playing skills, and build confidence on the court before transitioning to standard tennis balls. Programs available for all skill levels.

Perfect for players ranging from beginners to advanced. These sessions focus on building strong fundamentals and improving core skills. Learn, grow, and enjoy your path toward becoming a confident tennis player.

These classes range from beginner level (playing for the first time) to advanced level (can rally consistently and have prior playing experience). These players want to refine their basic skills and continue to improve on their tennis journey.

Adaptive Tennis for Kids
8-week May/June Session Available
Offered Mondays
Location: City Park
Our Adaptive Tennis program is designed for children with disabilities who want to learn the fundamentals of tennis in a supportive, engaging environment. Wheelchair tennis players are warmly welcomed, and all activities are adapted to meet the needs of every participant.
ADAPTIVE TENNIS FOR KIDS
Children will build:
• Hand–eye coordination
• Movement and mobility skills (including wheelchair movement on court)
• Foundational racquet skills
• Confidence and independence
Each child will be provided with their own equipment, and instruction focuses on progressive skill development through fun, accessible activities.
Support & Safety
This program is open to all clients with a disability who are interested in learning about tennis.
To ensure a safe and positive experience:
• Participants must be able to stay with the group and not be at risk of wandering.
• Parents, guardians, and support workers are welcome to stay, observe, and assist as needed.

Ages 18+

Offered all seven days of the week
Locations: City Park, Jack Robertson Park, Kinsmen Park, Knox Mountain, Mission Racquet Centre
Classes designed for all skill levels. Each class is designed to strengthen foundational techniques and promote consistent improvement in a supportive environment.
Beginner: For those just starting to play tennis, and those that may need to relearn the basics.
Beginner Advanced: These players have some playing experience and want to continue to refine their skills.
Intermediate: Play consistently and have a variety of shots. Can continue a rally with all strokes.

Noble Tennis School
We are pleased to inform you that all junior and adult lessons are brought to you by the Noble Tennis School, founded in 2003 by TCC’s own Tony Roth (Director of Kingston Racquet Centre).
The mission of the school is to provide a perfected environment for teaching, learning, and playing the great game of tennis. The environment is equal parts enthusiasm, organization, and expertise. The NTS provides junior and adult programs stretching from introductory to international levels, and a uniquely effective methodology, developed over decades.
