    Players compete in singles matches every Friday. Scores are reported to the league organizer after each match.

    This activity is designed for players interested in mild competition. This league is open to members and non members and is run through the Parks and Recreation Department of Richmond Hill.

    Players will be organized into two groups on the first day of the league. Half of the participants will start at 7:00pm and the other half at 8:30pm.

  1. SCHEDULE

    Our Indoor Season runs from October 1st through April 30th.

     

    Our Outdoor Season runs from May 1st through September 30th. There are no court fees during the Outdoor Season.

  2. BOOKING PRIVILEGES

    Full year members can book up to 8 days in advance at Blackmore Tennis Club and up to 7 days in advance at all other clubs affiliated with Tennis Clubs of Canada.

  3. BENEFITS

    Members may also join any of our programs such as Round Robins, Intercounty Leagues, House Leagues and Private Lessons.

    A Non Member can accompany a member a maximum of 4 times--a maximum of 4 visits to the club.  A guest fee will apply on each visit.

RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

  • This program is available for juniors aged between 4 - 17 and adults.
  • Classes are one hour in duration.
  • Students may register for one or more class per week
  • Levels: Juniors - 1 beginner, 2 low intermediate, 3 intermediate, 4 high intermediate and 5 advanced
  • Adults: 1.0 - 2.0 beginner, 2.0 - 3.0 intermediate, 3.0 - 3.5 high intermediate, 3.5 and up advanced.
  • We also offer pay as you go lesson programs and a free lesson programs a couple of hours per week.  For more information, contact our Director of Development, Jean Landy, by email at jean@tennisclubs.ca.

  • Juniors are encouraged to join our Junior House Leagues (indoor season only)
  • Junior players will be able to join our Recreational Junior House league on Sundays

Markus' passion for tennis is as strong as the first day he started training at Blackmore over 25 years ago!
