Physical: warm up activities and point play situations continuing to focus on co-ordination, spacial awareness, movement patterns, and different footwork skills.

Psychological: being a good sport, fair play, co-operation, introduction to competition, and fun.

Tactical: consistency to outlast the opponent, recognizing strengths/weaknesses in themselves/opponents, and learning to start the point with a serve.

Technical: grips on serve, and volleys, and grip change for forehand and backhand groundstrokes, set up, impact point, and recovery on all strokes.
