SUMMER CAMPS

General Overview

Tennis camp is open to all levels, from beginner to advanced. Campers will have ample opportunity to learn new tennis skills and play a variety of games designed for fun and learning! Our experienced counsellors focus on teaching technical and tactical aspects of the sport to all levels of players, while encouraging campers to build a love for the sport. Campers will enjoy a variety of sport and camp activities in addition to tennis on each camp day.  

Location Specific Descriptions

Blackmore

At our Blackmore location we are fortunate to have a variety of amenities available to us through David Hamilton Park. On site there is ample field space, a basketball court, a playground and splash pad facilities that our campers can enjoy. At this location, campers will enjoy a balance between tennis instruction and play for all ages and levels of experience. Our registration for the Blackmore location is divided by age group. Please ensure you register your child in the correct age category.  

Rouge Woods

Our Rouge Woods camp is offered in partnership with the City of Richmond Hill. Registration is completed through their activity portal. This community-based camp is the perfect option for gaining an introduction to tennis or building upon existing skills. Each day children will have the opportunity to participate in tennis and multi-sport activities using the amenities surrounding Rouge Woods Community centre. This includes field space, nature, a basketball court, a play structure, and gym space. 

Holy Trinity School

At Holy Trinity School, campers will have the opportunity to participate in off court activities which include cooperative games, soccer, basketball, and playground play each morning. In the afternoon, campers will be on the court receiving top level instruction from certified coaches and counsellors. Overall the goal is for on and off court activities to foster learning and provide an enjoyable experience! Other items include an indoor lunch facility, activity rooms and gym space for rain days, optional off-site swimming, and weekly prizes and giveaways, as well as a provided lunch. Registration is completed through Holy Trinity School.  

York University

Tennis Camp at York University is an exciting new location for families to consider. Campers at this location will have the amenities of a University campus and be able to play where Varsity Athletes play. Campers will be instructed in technical and tactical aspects of tennis and have the opportunity to gain skills and an enjoyment of the sport. Running in conjunction with Lions Camp, tennis campers will also have opportunities to participate in a variety of sport activities and camp games. Registration now open!

Marilyn Redvers Tennis Center

Marilyn Redvers Tennis Center is pleased to offer an indoor and air conditioned option to tennis camp. With the bubble remaining up year-round, tennis camp will never be rained out! Here campers will have the opportunity to play and learn with other children interested in developing their tennis skills. We cater our program to each group and support campers from beginner to advanced levels. Campers will have the opportunity to enjoy outdoor time each day, making use of nearby field space, playground, and splash pad amenities.  

Town of Aurora

Our camp with the Town of Aurora is a community-based option which provides an opportunity for campers to receive an introduction to tennis or to further develop existing skills. On site there is ample field space, playground structures, and nature for exploration and activities. Our experienced counsellors will tailor each day to include tennis instruction and play, as well as other sport and camp activities to create a fun and balanced day. Registration opens on March 13th, 2023.
